Israeli forces arrested at least 20 Palestinians, including two children, during raids across the occupied West Bank early on Wednesday, according to the Palestinian official news agency WAFA.
The arrests were reported in five governorates, with Israeli forces raiding homes, searching properties and detaining Palestinians in several towns and refugee camps.
In Jenin governorate, seven Palestinians, including two children, were arrested during raids on several towns and villages.
In the southern West Bank, two Palestinians were detained in Hebron city and al-Fawwar refugee camp. Three others were arrested in Nablus after Israeli forces raided several areas and searched homes.
Two Palestinians were detained in Bethlehem’s Aida and Dheisheh refugee camps, while six were arrested in Tulkarem governorate following raids and searches of their homes.
Occupied West Bank raids continue
Israeli forces have intensified raids across the occupied West Bank, including occupied East Jerusalem, since the start of Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza in October 2023.
Palestinian officials and rights groups have reported killings, mass arrests, forced displacement, home demolitions, and illegal settlement expansion during the period.
