Russia launched ballistic missiles and drones at production facilities belonging to Ukrainian energy company Naftogaz in the northeastern Poltava and Kharkiv regions on Saturday, causing damage, the company said.

Separately, Ukrainian-made Flamingo missiles struck a plant manufacturing artillery systems and missile launch components in Russia's Volgograd region overnight, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said. Writing on Telegram, he said the strikes sparked a fire at the Titan-Barrikady facility.

The latest exchange follows a deadly day of Russian drone attacks on Friday, which killed three people across two Ukrainian regions.

A Russian drone strike on a minibus in Nikopol, in the southeastern Dnipropetrovsk region, killed two passengers and injured 12 others, including two children, regional governor Oleksandr Hanzha said on Telegram. Nikopol, which sits opposite the Russian-held Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant on the Dnipro River, is regularly targeted by Russian forces.

In the northeastern Sumy region, which borders Russia and faces near-constant attacks, governor Oleh Hryhorov said a drone strike killed a man in a village near the regional capital.

Further south, in the Zaporizhzhia region, governor Mikhail Fedorov said two people were injured in day-long Russian strikes that also damaged the facades of residential buildings.

The fresh wave of attacks underscores the continuing intensity of long-range strikes on both sides, with Russia targeting Ukraine's energy infrastructure and civilian areas, while Ukraine has increasingly demonstrated capacity to strike deep into Russian territory using domestically produced missile systems such as the Flamingo.
