Two Palestinians were wounded on Sunday as illegal Israeli settlers carried out attacks in several areas across the occupied West Bank, while Israeli forces conducted separate raids in Ramallah and Nablus, according to Palestinian media.
The official Voice of Palestine radio said the two Palestinians were assaulted by illegal Israeli settlers on the outskirts of Beit Ula, northwest of Hebron.
In the town of Beita, south of Nablus, settlers dumped piles of garbage outside a Palestinian home, while no injuries were reported.
The broadcaster also said Israeli forces, accompanied by illegal settlers, raided the outskirts of the Al-Tira neighbourhood in Ramallah.
Separately, Israeli forces backed by a military bulldozer raided the town of Salem, east of Nablus, according to an Anadolu correspondent.
The forces brought three Palestinian prisoners from the Ishtayeh family to their home, where one of them was forced to dig in the yard of a neighbouring house before being taken into his father's home.
Before withdrawing, Israeli forces arrested another Palestinian, identified as Yamen Atwi.
Settler attacks spread
Meanwhile, the official Palestinian news agency Wafa reported that illegal Israeli settlers entered the village of Abu Njeim, southeast of Bethlehem, gathering in several neighbourhoods and along the main road, raising fears among residents of further attacks.
According to Wafa, illegal Israeli settlers also attacked Palestinian homes and vehicles and entered the areas of Gharaba, Sinjil, Kafr Malik, Deir Jarir, Taybeh, Yabrud and Beitillu near Ramallah.
Israeli military raids and illegal settlers attacks across the occupied West Bank have intensified since the start of Israel's war on Gaza in October 2023, involving killings, arrests, home demolitions and forced displacement.
According to official Palestinian figures, more than 1,182 Palestinians have been killed, around 13,000 wounded and nearly 24,000 arrested in the occupied West Bank during the same period.
