A Palestinian was killed and two others were injured in an Israeli air strike on Gaza City on Tuesday, a medical source said, in the latest violation of an ongoing ceasefire agreement.

The casualties were reported after an Israeli drone targeted passers-by in Sheikh Ajleen, southwest of Gaza City, according to the source.

Witnesses said Israeli artillery also shelled northeastern Gaza City and areas east of the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza.

Israeli military vehicles stationed behind the so-called “yellow line” opened heavy fire towards areas east of Deir al Balah and the Al Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza, as well as eastern Khan Younis in southern Gaza.

Israeli shelling was also reported off the coasts of Gaza City and Khan Younis.

According to the latest figures from the Health Ministry in Gaza, Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement since October 2025 have killed 1,372 Palestinians and injured 4,659 others.

Since October 2023, Israel has killed nearly 74,000 Palestinians and injured more than 174,000 others in its genocidal war on Gaza, while destroying around 90 percent of the enclave’s infrastructure.
