US President Donald Trump has condemned the deadly assault on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh as "terrible", speaking to reporters after strikes on the Saudi capital.
"I think it’s terrible," Trump remarked when questioned about the incident.
"The Saudis are good fighters, but I think the attack was a terrible thing."
The Saudi-led military coalition says Houthi militia launched Saturday’s attack, which left at least 12 people dead and more than 300 injured at the civil aviation facility

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that Washington "strongly condemns" the strikes directed against the Kingdom, including the Saturday bombardment of King Khalid International Airport.
"These reprehensible attacks demonstrate a blatant disregard for innocent civilian life. They must stop now," Rubio said in a statement posted on X platform.
Saudi authorities confirmed that four Saudi nationals and eight foreign citizens were killed in the terminal attack.
Rubio confirmed that one American national was among the 12 fatalities.
The deadliest strike on Saudi soil in more than a decade killed 12 people at Riyadh's international airport and wounded hundreds, prompting the Saudi-led coalition to vow on Sunday a decisive response against Yemen's Houthi militia.
