NASA is on a mission to 'Touch the Sun'

Scientists unveiled the Parker Solar Probe at a laboratory in Laurel, Maryland, on Monday where the spacecraft is being prepared to make an unprecedented plunge into the sun's atmosphere.

NASA is preparing to launch its first ever mission to touch the sun.

The Parker Solar Probe will set off next summer. It will travel directly through the Sun's atmosphere, and face more heat and radiation than any other spacecraft in history.
