Libya power play?
The UN-backed peace deal in Libya could now be over. The country's renegade general Khalifa Haftar declared it ink on paper. It was brokered in 2015 as a means to unite warring factions. But so far it hasn't worked. The Tripoli government is internationally recognised, but Haftar has declared it illegitimate. So is Libya's strongman positioning himself to be the next leader?
