The retrial of 'Ahmed H'
In 2015, a Syrian man identified as 'Ahmed H' living in Cyprus returned to help his family flee the war in Syria. On their journey to Europe, clashes broke out at the Roszke border. Ahmed was arrested on charges of 'terrorism' and sentenced to 10 years in jail. An appeals court has ordered a retrial in Hungary.
