'Contemporary Arabesque' in Jerusalem | Exhibitions | Showcase
The ancient Islamic artistic style called 'arabesque' is getting a reboot for the 21st century. Opening this week is an exhibition at Jerusalem's Museum of Islamic Art which explores just that. On display are modern interpretations of the iconic arabesque pattern created by local artists. Miranda Atty takes us inside.
