Maldives Politics: Opponents accuse president of launching purge
The former president of the Maldives, Mohamed Nasheed, has called on India to intervene to help solve his country's political crisis. The current president, Abdulla Yameen has declared a state of emergency. Critics accuse him of conducting a purge against his opponents. Kieran Burke reports.
