UN: Global level of forced displacement climbs to record 110M
By the end of 2022, the number of refugees globally stood at 35.3 million. The UNHCR says that's an increase of more than eight million from the year before. Over half of all refugees came from just three countries, Syria, Ukraine and Afghanistan.
