Bank of England hikes interest rates to cool down inflation
The UK's central bank this week surprised markets by adding half a percent to interest rates, from 4.5% to 5%. The fifty basis point rise comes as inflation remains stubbornly high in the country, well higher than in most of Europe. But is the Bank of England's latest move too little too late, or does the problem require a more radical solution? Wilson Dizard has this report.
