Prices in China fall 0.3% in July, first time in two years
Prices in China have fallen for the first time in more than 2 years. The economy is struggling with low consumer demand for domestic goods, which is putting downward pressure on prices. Exports have also been persistently low as the global economy enters a contractionary period, with the US, EU and the UK hiking rates to combat inflation.
