Iranian government takes pre-emptive measures to prevent protests
A year ago, Mahsa Amini, a 22-year-old Iranian woman died in the custody of Iran's morality police. Her death sparked months of anti-government protests in which hundreds died and thousands were detained. And on the anniversary of her death, human rights groups say, Iranian security forces briefly detained her father warning him against marking the day.
