Thai PM pitches $16B cash giveaway to revive economy
If a helicopter flew over and started throwing money at you, would you pick it up and spend it? Well, the newly formed Thai government is hoping that its citizens will do just that. The country's new prime minister has announced a cash giveaway in a bid to revive the economy. 300 dollars will be distributed to every citizen over 16 through a digital wallet. But will it work?
