Flash flooding kills at least 17 people in southern India
Residents in the Indian city of Chennai waded through knee-deep floodwater on Wednesday after cyclone Michaung barreled into the southern coast. The tropical storm brought heavy rains and winds of up to a hundred kilometers an hour, uprooting trees and damaging roads. At least 17 people have died. Claire Herriot has more.
