Apple reportedly cancels self-driving electric car project
Bloomberg says the iPhone maker has officially scrapped its development of the car, and broke the news to nearly 2,000 employees in the division on Tuesday. The company turned the key on the project a decade ago, and spent billions of dollars supporting it amid multiple leadership changes. Apple will reassign employees working on the car to the company's artificial intelligence division, where they will focus on generative A-I projects.
