Dairy farmers try to contain the spread of bird flu in the US
Since early 2022, a highly pathogenic strain of avian flu otherwise known as bird flu has killed more than 85 million birds in the US. Now this same strain has spread to cows, infecting herds in 8 states and a Texas dairy worker who is the first human to contact the avian flu from a mammal. TRT World’s Martin Markovits reports.
