Argentina puts banknote equivalent to $10 into circulation
Argentina has introduced a new 10 thousand peso bank note - the largest yet but worth only around 10 dollars. The move aims to tackle problems caused by severe inflation, which is close to 300 percent. The new bill will help people carry less cash and reduce the strain on banks. A 20 thousand peso bill is also planned for release later this year to further tackle inflation.
