When Connor Leahy told Imran Garda that AI might doom humanity within a year, his grave message became one of The InnerView’s most watched shows and struck an ominous chord for many viewers. So we decided to get a second opinion from another AI guru. We asked Pedro Domingos, who is an author and prominent computer science and engineering professor to respond to the interview with Leahy and give us his take on the potential upsides and downsides of machine learning and AI.
