China fights obesity surge as weight-loss drugs boom
China has declared a battle against obesity as studies show more than two-thirds of its population could be overweight by 2030. It follows a booming demand for weight-loss in the world’s largest consumer market, with foreign makers vying for entry, and domestic producers racing to develop their own. Roeland de Bruine reports.
