Serbia signs deal with EU and Germany to mine raw materials
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz visited Serbia last week to sign a co-operation agreement between Serbia and the European Union on strategically important raw materials. The EU needs lithium from Serbia to manufacture batteries for electric cars. But the process of mining lithium is not pretty, as Marko Vlahovic reports.
