Retail rental costs in Hong Kong predicted to drop
Real estate experts predict the cost of renting prime retail space in Hong Kong could drop by as much as 10% this year due to a slump in consumer spending. And while some retailers are driving footfall with a different type of business, experts say it’s a sign the sector is struggling to claw its way out of a rut. Patrick Fok reports.
