Malawi farmers turn fly waste into farming gold
Farmers in Malawi have begun using organic fertiliser made from the waste from black soldier flies. This low-tech but high-impact solution combines insect farming and waste recycling to help revive Malawi’s depleted soils and improve crop yields. Lameck Masina reports from Blantyre.
