EU sets up fund for defence spending amid NATO’s 5% debate
Should all European NATO countries commit to spending 5% of their economy on defence? That’s the question many will be asking as NATO leaders head to the Netherlands for a summit on Tuesday. And while some countries favour the hike due to the threat from Russia, others are reluctant to spend more. Paul Hawkins reports.
