Israel strikes Syrian military headquarters in capital Damascus
The Israeli military said it attacked the entrance gate of the Syrian military headquarters in the capital Damascus on July 16.

Syrian state television reported that two people were wounded in central Damascus, without giving the exact location.

The attack came shortly after Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz threatened to continue targeting Syrian forces if they did not withdraw from Sweida province, which is witnessing unrest between the Druze and Bedouin communities.
