Iran’s Ambassador to the UN, Amir Saeid Iravani, condemned US strikes on Iran as a bitter irony, noting that Washington is the only country to have ever used nuclear weapons.

He added that the Iranian military will decide the “timing, nature and scale” of the country’s “proportionate response.”
