The South American country has the largest Muslim population in the continent.

The holy fasting month of Ramadan is observed by 1.5 billion Muslims globally.
Brazil has the largest Islamic population in South America, including a high number of Syrian refugees who have settled there.
Today, less than one percent of Brazil's more than 200 million people are practising Muslims, but the number is growing as Lebanese and Syrian migrants are moving to the country.
