Turkish defence firm Aselsan will showcase its autonomous underwater vehicle, Deringoz, at the Teknofest Blue Homeland naval defence event starting on Thursday.
The vehicle will demonstrate its capabilities at the Golcuk Naval Shipyard in Türkiye's northwestern Kocaeli province and remain on display through Sunday.
Deringoz was developed for mine countermeasures and port security, as well as protecting critical underwater infrastructure, monitoring pipelines and supporting underwater exploration.
Its autonomous capabilities allow it to conduct surveillance and exploration in hazardous and difficult-to-reach underwater environments with minimal human intervention.
