Three Palestinians were killed and more than 30 others, including four children, were wounded in Israeli attacks across Gaza on Monday, according to Palestinian medical sources.
The attacks targeted Gaza City, Khan Younis and the central town of Al Zawaida, striking tents sheltering displaced families, civilian gatherings and a vehicle.
In northern Gaza City, an Israeli drone strike hit a civilian vehicle in the Al Saftawi neighbourhood, killing one Palestinian and injuring several others, a medical source at al-Shifa Hospital said.
Another Palestinian, 50-year-old Mohammed Khader Ajjour, died from wounds sustained when an Israeli drone struck a tent on the roof of his home near al-Shifa Hospital.
Drone strikes hit displaced families
Ten Palestinians were also injured, including two critically, when an Israeli strike hit a tent in a densely populated area of central Gaza City.
In southern Gaza, a drone strike hit a tent sheltering displaced Palestinians in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis, killing one person and injuring seven others.
Another strike near a displacement tent in Al-Mawasi injured eight Palestinians, including four children. Two of the wounded were in critical condition.
Israeli military vehicles also opened fire east of Khan Younis, injuring another Palestinian, while a drone strike targeting a civilian gathering in Al Zawaida wounded two people.
Death toll continues to rise despite ceasefire agreement
According to Gaza’s health ministry, Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement had killed 1,372 Palestinians and injured 4,659 others as of Monday.
Since October 2023, Israel’s genocidal war has killed more than 73,000 Palestinians and injured over 174,000 others in Gaza, according to the ministry.
The attacks have also destroyed or damaged around 90 percent of the besieged enclave’s infrastructure, leaving much of Gaza devastated after nearly three years of Israeli offensive.
