Houthi militia has said it had targeted Riyadh's airport several times, as well as Saudi energy facilities, a day after a deadly attack at the airport.

Houthi militia spokesperson Yahya Saree said on Sunday that the militia "carried out four qualitative operations in the past 24 hours using ballistic and cruise missiles and drones".

Saree said they targeted the Riyadh airport multiple times, as well as the Dammam airport and two facilities belonging to the Saudi state oil company Aramco.

Meanwhile, the death toll from Saturday's Houthi attack on King Khalid International Airport in Saudi Arabia's capital, Riyadh, rose to 13 after an Indian national succumbed to his injuries, the Indian Embassy said.

In a statement on Facebook, the embassy said an Indian citizen injured in the October 10 attack "has unfortunately lost his life today."

A fresh attack on King Khalid International Airport caused injuries Sunday afternoon, the country's General Authority of Civil Aviation said.

In a statement, the authority said it was assessing damage and checking the safety of airport facilities in coordination with relevant authorities.

It did not specify the number of people injured or the severity of their injuries.

Earlier, the Saudi-led coalition said an unidentified projectile struck Terminal 4 at the airport, sparking a fire.

The coalition said relevant authorities were responding to the blaze.

The US, Canadian, German and Spanish embassies in Saudi Arabia have warned their citizens to avoid Riyadh airport, while Australia urged its citizens to stay indoors altogether and "shelter in place".

The Dammam airport, also claimed to have been attacked by the militia, whose official website on Sunday showed many flights, both departures and arrivals, were delayed.
