Israeli attacks across Gaza have killed five Palestinians, including two children, in the past 24 hours, medical sources confirmed.

In central Gaza, Israeli artillery struck a classroom sheltering displaced families in Deir al-Balah, killing a seven-year-old child.

In Gaza City, forces killed two Palestinians in the Rimal neighbourhood, whilst an Israeli drone targeted a civilian vehicle, killing Youssef Aqila and his nine-year-old daughter, Wafaa, on her first day of the new school term.

Further air and artillery strikes hit the Tuffah neighbourhood and Shati refugee camp, wounding several people.

At dawn, air strikes destroyed the former Al-Sakhra commercial complex near the "yellow line" in Tuffah, injuring nine residents and displacing civilians.

The attacks mark the latest Israeli breaches of the ceasefire in effect since October 10, 2025.

Health Ministry figures indicate Israeli violations have killed 1,344 Palestinians and wounded 4,464 others since the truce began.

Overall, the genocide in Gaza has killed more than 73,000 Palestinians and wounded over 174,000.

Illegal settlers' assaults

Meanwhile, in the occupied West Bank, one Palestinian was killed, and three others were wounded late on Sunday in attacks by illegal Israeli settlers, according to officials and medics.

Official news agency WAFA reported that Omar al-Toubas died after being shot in the head during an armed illegal settler raid targeting a home in the village of Hajja, east of Qalqilya.

The Palestine Red Crescent Society transported three wounded individuals to hospital, including a man shot in the chest and a 17-year-old boy struck in the thigh.

In the Jerusalem governorate, two illegal Israeli settlers assaulted a Palestinian man, fracturing his hand and severely injuring his eye, requiring emergency surgery.

The violence follows an ongoing surge in illegal settlers' attacks and military incursions across the occupied West Bank since October 2023.
