Israeli forces have arrested 16 Palestinians, including two women and two teenagers, and demolished Bedouin community and Palestinian structures across the occupied West Bank, according to Palestinian sources.
The Palestinian Prisoners Media Office, a non-governmental organisation, says Israeli forces carried out widespread raids and home searches in the provinces of Tulkarem, Hebron, Nablus and Jenin.
Tulkarem recorded the highest number of arrests, with 10 Palestinians detained in Tulkarem city, Deir al-Ghusun and Dhanaba, including two women and members of prisoners' families, the office says.
In Hebron, Israeli forces arrest two young Palestinians, aged 15 and 18, after detaining them for more than four hours on Al-Ikhwan Street in the southern part of the city.
Three Palestinians are arrested during raids in Balata al-Balad and Asira al-Shamaliya in Nablus, while another Palestinian from Jenin refugee camp is detained in Burqin, west of Jenin, the office says.
Bulldozers raze more Palestinian homes
Separately, Israeli army bulldozers demolish Bedouin community structures in the western part of Deir Ballut town in Salfit province, according to Al-Baidar Organisation for the Defence of Bedouin Rights.
The organisation says the community had been home to more than 20 Palestinians for over two decades, with residents relying on livestock farming and owning about 1,000 sheep.
In Hebron, Israeli bulldozers demolish a two-storey Palestinian home housing eight people in Khirbet Khallet al-Hummus in Masafer Yatta, along with a water well and parts of a surrounding wall, local sources say.
Homeowner Hammad Al-Haddar tells Anadolu that Israeli authorities had previously issued a demolition order and that the family had waited about two months while pursuing legal measures to stop it.
Thousands held in Israeli prisons
Palestinian prisoners' groups and the Palestinian Authority's Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs say about 9,350 Palestinians were held in Israeli prisons as of early September, including more than 350 children and about 90 women.
Of those, 3,176 are held under administrative detention without charge. The figures do not include all Gaza detainees held at Israeli military camps.
Palestinian rights groups have reported allegations of torture, starvation and medical neglect in Israeli prisons, saying the conditions have contributed to the deaths of dozens of detainees.
Deadly strike in Gaza
In central Gaza, one Palestinian was killed and nine others injured on Wednesday in an Israeli strike targeting a gathering of civilians, according to a medical facility.
Al-Awda Medical Complex in Nuseirat says it received one body and nine wounded people following the attack, which targeted a group of Palestinians near Salah al-Din Street in the Bureij refugee camp. It gave no details on the condition of the injured.
The strike comes amid continued Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement in effect in Gaza since October 10, 2025.
According to the latest figures from Gaza's Health Ministry, Israeli violations of the ceasefire have killed 1,381 Palestinians and injured 4,757 others since the agreement took effect.
Israel's genocidal war on Gaza, which began on October 8, 2023, has killed 73,795 Palestinians and injured 174,869 others, according to Palestinian figures. The brutal war has also destroyed around 90 percent of Gaza's infrastructure.
