Another Palestinian has succumbed to wounds sustained in an Israeli attack on southern Gaza, as Israeli artillery continued to target areas across the northern and southern parts of the enclave.
The Nasser Medical Complex said the victim died from wounds sustained during Israeli shelling of the Al-Amal neighbourhood in Khan Younis late on Saturday.
Israeli artillery also targeted eastern areas of the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza alongside areas north-west of Rafah in the south.
Israel killed four Palestinians and wounded 11 others in separate attacks on Saturday across Gaza, including drone strikes in Khan Younis and Gaza City, as well as gunfire targeting farmers east of Deir al-Balah.
The latest fatality raised Saturday’s death toll from Israeli attacks to at least five.
As many as 1,313 Palestinians have been killed and 4,361 wounded in Israeli violations since a ceasefire agreement was reached last October, according to Gaza's Health Ministry.
Overall, Israel's genocide in Gaza since October 2023 has killed at least 73,449 people and wounded over 174,472 others.
