Turkish National Defence Minister Yasar Guler and Chief of General Staff Gen. Selcuk Bayraktaroglu on Wednesday attended a meeting of the defence ministers and chiefs of general staff of Türkiye, Bulgaria and Romania in Sofia.
According to a statement from the Turkish National Defence Ministry, Guler and Bayraktaroglu were welcomed upon their arrival at the Boyana Government Residence by Bulgarian Defence Minister Dimitar Stoyanov and Chief of Defence Adm. Emil Eftimov.
Guler later posed for a family photo with Stoyanov, Romanian Defence Minister Stefan-Radu Oprea, Bayraktaroglu, Eftimov and Romanian Chief of Defence Gen. Gheorghita Vlad.
Following the photo session, the three countries’ defence ministers and chiefs of general staff proceeded to the meeting.
