Winter arrives in Iraq's Mosul as civilians continue to flee

The United Nations says 35,000 children have fled the city since the battle against Daesh began in October.

Winter has arrived in Iraq, leaving the streets of Mosul muddy.

But hundreds of civilians are still on the move, trying to escape the fighting.

The United Nations says 35,000 children have fled since the battle to retake the city from Daesh began in October.

Iraqi troops are part of a 100,000-strong coalition involved in the operation.
