Kansas facing one of the worst tuberculosis outbreaks in US history

A major tuberculosis outbreak has hit Kansas City as health authorities scramble with testing, treatment, contact tracing and health education. Since January 31, 2025, 67 active and 79 latent cases have been confirmed in two counties of the US state. #tuberculosis
