Palestine not ready for statehood, US ambassador to the UN says

“I do not believe the Palestinians, as they exist right now, have all of the elements to give it statehood” US Ambassador to the UN, Linda Thomas-Greenfield said at the Council of Foreign Relations in New York on September 12, in response to a journalist's question on recognition of Palestinian statehood.
