Shigeru Ishiba confirmed as Japan's prime minister

Japan’s new Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba has begun his term in office after winning a hotly contested internal leadership election. Ishiba will be tasked with rebuilding confidence in the ruling Liberal Democratic Party, which has been rocked by allegations of corruption. Jan Camenzind Broomby reports.
