Top EU court says workplaces can ban headscarves

The European Court of Justice has ruled private companies can restrict the wearing of ‘religious symbols’, such as headscarves. Thursday's ruling was over two cases brought by Muslim women in Germany. While national courts will have the final say in both cases, the decision has angered #Muslims and human rights organisations.
