Hunter Biden, the son of former US President Joe Biden, has said that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is "evil incarnate" and that it's not anti-Semitic to criticise the government of Israel.

"If it's anti-Semitic to point out that Netanyahu is evil incarnate, then I don't know what to say to people anymore," Biden said in an interview with noted US broadcaster Tucker Carlson.

However, the irony wasn't lost on online users.

Many pointed to his father’s support for Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s genocidal war in Gaza.

The former US president met with Netanyahu three times during his presidency; two of them were after the start of the war on the blockaded enclave.

On July 25, 2024, Netanyahu visited Washington, DC, met with Biden in the Oval Office, and gave an address to the US Congress, which was met with boycotts from lawmakers and a massive protest outside the US Capitol.

Hunter Biden allegations pushed by Israel

During the same interview, the two discussed Hunter Biden's struggle with addiction and the infamous laptop fiasco.

Carlson said that Israeli agents close to Netanyahu made him report that there was material of child abuse on the laptop.

"The claim that there was material involving the abuse of minors on the computer came from the Israelis," Carlson said. "I'm just telling you that they came to me with it, and that's how I know it."

In 2020, when Carlson was still a presenter at FOX News, evidence-free allegations emerged that the younger Biden had material of child abuse on his laptop, which was later blamed on Russia.

"They (Israel) were behind it," Carlson said. "I felt like everybody in Washington knew it, but there was so much pressure not to criticise Israel in any way that they just said, 'It's the Russians, it's the Russians'."

Carlson said that maybe the Russians had a hand in it, but it was the Israelis pushing the fact.

The allegations against the younger Biden haven't been proven.
