Gaza’s health ministry said on Thursday that five more Palestinians were killed and 35 injured over the previous 24 hours, bringing the reported death toll from Israel’s military aggression in the enclave since October 2023 to 73,928.
The ministry said hospitals received the bodies of five people and treated 35 wounded Palestinians during the latest reporting period. It did not provide details on the circumstances surrounding the deaths or injuries.
The latest figures come despite a ceasefire that took effect on October 10, 2025.
According to the health ministry, Israeli violations of the agreement have killed 1,408 Palestinians and wounded another 4,916 since October 11.
The ministry said the overall number of wounded since the conflict began has reached 175,030. It has previously reported that children and women make up a large share of the casualties.
